A festive elf trail held on Burnham-On-Sea seafront has raised £1,000 for Burnham charity BARB Search & Rescue.

The popular annual event was held on Sunday November 19th and attracted scores of families who followed a route of elves along The Esplanade before enjoying festive activities in the BARB station.

“We had a busy day of families and give a big thank you to everyone who came along and supported this fun Christmas event,” said a BARB spokesperson.

The event’s sponsors and local traders were thanked for their support, plus organiser Tina Lowe, the BARB volunteers and helpers. All proceeds went towards BARB Search & Rescue‘s life-saving work.
