Storm Arwen brought bitterly cold winds to the Burnham-On-Sea area over the weekend.

The Burnham-On-Sea weather forecast showed strong northerly winds brought temperatures down to 4°C, but these felt more like -2°C in the gusty conditions.

The Met Office says: “Gusts widely reached 55 to 65 mph in many coastal areas with the highest gusts in coastal parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales, southwest England and northeast England where gusts in excess of 65 mph were seen in some areas.”

“Much lighter winds on Sunday were seen as it turns cloudier and less cold through Monday with light rain.”
