Burnham-On-Sea wildlife carers help tiny badger cub back to good health

-

Burnham-On-Sea wildlife carers have been nursing this tiny badger back to good health after it was rescued.

Secret World Wildlife Rescue in East Huntspill has been caring for the cub, which was just a few weeks old when he arrived.

“Called ‘Sprout’, he is approximately seven weeks old and came in depressed, malnourished, dehydrated and covered in fleas,” says a spokeswoman.

“After some TLC with one of our animal carers he is now taking from the bottle well and gaining weight.”

“He’s even starting to show a little more of his lovely little character!”
