Burnham-On-Sea Coastguards were called out to conduct a search for a missing person in Weston on Wednesday evening (February 8th).
The team of nine backed up Weston Coastguards in searching for the missing, vulnerable person along the resort’s beach, River Axe estuary, Uphill boatyard and the sand dunes.
“An extensive seach lasted until 3am, but the missing person was unfortunately not found. The matter was left in the hands of the police,” a Coastguard spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
